A new postdoctoral position is open in the research group of Prof. Nahum Shpigel.
The research project aims to develop humanized mouse models, and to study the molecular mechanisms and dynamics of the NF-k-B pathway in inflammatory bowel diseases in humans.
The research will focus on the complementation of NSG mice with human intestinal xenografts and human immune system, analysis of the intestinal immune function in steady state and inflammation.
The postdoctoral candidate will have recently acquired a Ph.D. preferably in immunology with technique expertise in flow cytometry and molecular biology. Candidate should be capable of interdisciplinary work, self-motivated and career oriented as well as excellent communication and team player skills.
